HOW TO INSTALL PEEL AND STICK WALLPAPER
STEP 1: MEASURE YOUR PANEL
Take a measurement of the wallpaper panel's width. Measure the width of the wallpaper panel and mark it on the wall, starting on the left side.
STEP 2: DRAW THE GUIDE LINE
Draw a vertical line from the mark from ceiling to floor. This serves as the first panel's guideline. Never align wallpaper to a ceiling or corner because it may be uneven.
STEP 3: PEEL THE BACKING PAPER
Verify that your pattern is oriented correctly. To start installing the first panel, peel off and fold 6 inches of the backing paper, leaving glue exposed.
STEP 4: INSTALL THE FIRST PANEL
Apply the panel to the top of the wall, letting a small amount of extra hang over the ceiling. Align the right side with the Guide Line to make sure the wallpaper is straight. If not, straighten your body and repeat this action.
STEP 5: PEEL THE BACKING PAPER LITTLE BY LITTLE
Peel off the backing paper slowly, no more than 10 inches at a time, and make sure the right side is parallel to the Guide Line. Always pull the backing paper straight down; never angle it because doing so could stretch the fabric.
STEP 6: SMOOTH YOUR PANEL INTO THE WALL
Use the squeegee tool to press the wallpaper firmly into the wall and remove bubbles as you remove a small amount of the backing paper at a time. The squeegee must be used in order to apply the wallpaper to the wall. The wallpaper may come off soon after installation if this step is skipped.
Pay close attention to how your first panel is installed properly. Making sure the first strip is straight and level is the most important step in hanging wallpaper. Since this will have an effect on the remainder of the installation, it is crucial to take your time and complete it properly.
STEP 7: APPLY MORE PANELS
Choose your next wallpaper panel and position it so that its left side overlaps the previous panel's right edge, following the repeat. To assist with the alignment, find a friend. Apply more panels utilizing the same process.
STEP 8: SMOOTH AGAIN
Smooth each panel as it is being installed, and then smooth everything again once the installation is complete. Repeat the process a few days later, if at all possible.
OVERLAP
For the purpose of ensuring the quality of our wallpapers, every order is produced with an overlap.
Each of your panels has a "Overlap" symbol at the top indicating that the edges must be superposed for a full inch on top of one another. The following panel should be positioned a full inch above the previous one.
Any kind of Peel and Stick wallpaper should not have the overlap removed, per our recommendation. Peel and Stick wall coverings shrink a little with time. Some time after installation, removing the overlap completely may result in the wall showing through the wallpaper seam.
Do not remove the overlap when installing over a texture wall (using a material that is appropriate). It supports the installation's overall dimensional stability.
TRIM
Trim any extra paper from the baseboard and ceiling after installation. Always cut with a sharp knife, and avoid lifting the blade when making lengthy cuts.
CARE
Our wallpapers can be cleaned with a wet sponge, damp cloth, or kitchen towel. Only mild detergents should be used. Avoid using abrasive cleaners and avoid rubbing the paper.
REMOVAL
Working parallel to the surface, lift a corner and slowly, steadily, and firmly pull. If you run into resistance, use a regular blow dryer on the HOT setting to heat the area and weaken the adhesive so you can remove it from the surface with ease.
